Sky-high energy prices and groceries that are becoming increasingly expensive. More and more people in the Netherlands do not have enough money, or barely enough, to buy food. The Red Cross is distributing grocery cards to people who are falling through the cracks, for example because they do not qualify for regular assistance as they earn just a few euros too much or because they do not have the proper documents.
