Reinjan’s work is best described as poetic realism. Mood & emotion mixed with an underlying story. Fiction, documentary or an interesting mix of both worlds. In his commercial work he likes to zoom in on the more relatable and touching moments of life. Ordinary people doing ordinary things.

“I’m always looking for truthfulness. A room must be messy, a touch must be awkward and love can’t be perfect. Only then does it start to feel genuine, which makes the message and therefore the brand, more relatable to the viewer.”

He applies his interest in investigative journalism, love for a good interview and his love for small relatable emotions in his work as a branded documentary director. Human interest stories and stories with a certain social importance have a special place in his heart.
